Quebec cops have asked to keep evidence until at least this fall, their second extension. At least 35 people were wiretapped for a year, dozens arrested during the investigation, their homes searched, and more than 150 electronic devices seized and analyzed. Silva has made disclosures about more than 60 murders and attempted murders. Among other things, Silva organized the 2014 murder of gang leader Ducarme Joseph, and was involved in the December 2009 assassination of Nicola Rizzuto Jr., eldest son of mafia boss Vito Rizzuto. Two other men were targeted by the request; Nicko Belisle and Mario Sollecito.
